8S VERSUS WALNEY AWAY ON SUNDAY IS NOW 8S VERSUS WALNEY AT HOME ON FRIDAY AT 5 (INSTEAD OF TRAINING) SO PLEASE BRING YOUR KITS. WALNEY CANNOT FULFIL THE SUNDAY FIXTURE DUE TO A FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT.
 
10S ARE TO BE ADVISED AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME BUT I HAVE SAID OUR PREFERENCE IS TO PLAY TOGETHER SO PLEASE COME READY TO PLAY JUST IN CASE THEIR 8S COACH MANAGES TO SPEAK TO THEIR 10S COACH WHO ALSO HAVE A TOURNAMENT.
 
THE 8S WHO GAVE ME THEIR NAMES FOR THE FOOTY FESTIVAL ARE TO MEET AT 9AM AT THE CLUB ON SATURDAY MORNING IN THEIR STORM STRIPS (MIGHT AS WELL SLEEP IN THEM)

The 10s know exactly what they need to do now and I’m confident we can expect another strong performance from the boys who set their stall out for the season run in against Barrow Island. Our ball from acting half needs to be a bit longer and our markers need to be a bit smarter but these are quick fixes at training and I for one am anticipating another booming performance from our chaps. Walney are a big experienced side who keep the ball alive and tackle cohesively as a unit. SO ARE WE!

The 8s need to adopt the 10s approach and play from the first whistle. We should be back to full strength for our trip but the young pretenders who showed such bravery last week will be chomping at the bit to get on the pitch which is a pleasure to see.
