Next Sunday sees us make the trip to Kelland Park to play a rare away fixture against Dalton at Crooklands Brow.

As you all probably know Dean and I were involved at Dalton for a while and we expect the majority of the kids to still be there this weekend.

They are two great little teams and I am looking forward to our return to see how the kids have progressed under Paul Crarey and Alan Brown.

Dalton were a very attacking team and we will need to be at our defensive best again this weekend to ensure we compete.

I fully expect to see Kian and Coops Jnr on the score sheet this week and to see a brick wall defensive display from the 10s.

Meet at Hawcoat Park at 945am for those wanting to proceed in convoy.

Those making their own way should head through Dalton and the pitch is on the left, straight after the school just over the brow of the hill. 10s meet at 10, 8s meet at 1030.

Parking on the road is advisable.
