Walney Central are probably one of the most respected and established teams in the area and have some pedigree on the mini coaching staff at present with ex Barrow player Stuart Dancer at the helm for the Under 8s and a certain Mr. Broadbent Junior appearing at full back.

The 10s have been together for a long time and this is reflected in their patterns of play and confidence with ball in hand.

We have been working on some quick fixes at training and let's hope we see these put into action on Sunday as we were our own worst enemies around the play the ball area.

We will still maintain the no pressure approach as this is what the kids respond to. You will see them challenging themselves and progressing week after week.

Singo's debut for the 10s means Dean has the luxury of yet more substitutes to rest those tired bones and with the 8s missing just Archie this week they too will have a substitute.
